oh herro, kitty.
Fast Forward

I have found myself being so impatient these days. I just want everything to happen and happen quickly. I don’t want to wait, I hate wasting time.

Work, play, love, dinner… I just want decisions to be made.

We have 365 days a year… As young adults, we have a whole life ahead of us that one bad dinner, one long day at work, one night at a bar you might not like or like!, or one night home isn’t the end of the world. Why can’t decisions on what to do in life be easier - why is there always a debate, a process of contemplation? Why can’t it be a process of elimination? Try something once and if you don’t like it, don’t do it again. It sounds fairly simple, but that decision to do something for the first time hardly comes naturally for most people.

…..Is it the fear of being disappointed or is it that we are a generation spoiled with technology providing instant gratification (of like and dislike) that if it’s not fast, we don’t want it?

So why do we have to overanalyze, why can’t we just do? I am guilty of this. I just want to cut to the chase. If we just do…  without thinking… life would be much simpler, no?

Without disappointment, we will never know satisfaction. Without sadness, we will never appreciate happiness. Is this why we always think and not just do because we fear the disappointment and sadness or are humans now conditioned to just be impatient? Why not just do? No calculations, just a natural effort to live your life and let things happen because isn’t that supposed to be the beauty of life? That anything can happen?
